In 1921 a new banknote was introduced into circulation. 100 guilder bill with Grietje Seel. This banknote resembled the 1000 guilders of 1919, and is part of the Grietje Seel banknotes from the early 1920s; it was already replaced in 1930 by the hundred guilder banknote with the Luitspelende vrouw, making it more of a separate banknote; the rest of the banknotes from the 1920s circulated until the end of the war. The signatures on the banknote are those of DNB President Vissering and DNB Secretary Delprat. A few more types of banknote were issued from the design; the following two also appear:
– 1000 guilders Grietje Seel 1919;
– 1000 guilders Greeting from Seel 1926/1938
The 100 guilder banknote of Grietje Seel was withdrawn from circulation in the early 1930s and replaced by the 100 guilder Luitspelende vrouw (Playing Girl).
