The thousandth was printed in two editions, one in 1926 and one in 1938. Therefore, two types of signature combinations are also available for this variant.

– 1938: DNB President Leonardus Trip and DNB Secretary Westerman Holstijn.
The 1926/1938 banknote is part of the series of banknotes from the twenties, and in addition to the thousandth banknote there are also the following banknotes:
– 10 guilders Zeeuws girl;
– 20 guilders for the helmsman;
– 25 guilders Willem van oranje (orange);
– 25 guilders Willem van Oranje (blue);
The 1,000 guilder banknote of 1926/1938 was withdrawn from circulation in 1942 by DNB President M. Rost-van Tonningen. During the money laundering purge in 1945 it was reintroduced for exchange.
