About quality
The banknote is in beautiful quality, which puts it in a higher quality and collectible class. The bill has some very light creases, but apart from that the bill is still solid and without holes or tears. This bill is hard to find in this higher quality.

About the bank bill: 

The twenty-five guilders featuring Christiaan Huygens is part of the series of banknotes designed by Eppo Doeve in the 1950s as the first official legacy series. The obverse shows astronomer Christiaan Huygens and the background shows an image of his country house (Hofwijck) in Voorburg. Some guilloche patterns can be seen on the eighth side, and the signatures on the bill are of DNB President Holtrop and DNB Secretary de Jong. In addition to the twenty-five guilder Huygens bill, the following bills are also among the series of legacy notes from the 1950s:

1. 10 guilder Hugo de Groot
2. 20 guilders Boerhave
3. 100 guilders Erasmus;
4. 1000 guilders Rembrandt

The twenty-five guilder Huygens bill was finally withdrawn from circulation in 1978.
