The silver Wilhelmina dime
The silver dime minted under Queen Wilhelmina (1890-1948) was minted in the years 1892 through 1945 (another dime of Wilhelmina was also minted in 1948, only this one is nickel). The silver dime has several portraits of Wilhelmina.
– Wilhelmina loose hair;
– Wilhelmina coronation type;
–
– Wilhelmina with her hair pulled up.
The dime was struck from 640/1000 silver, weighs 1.4 grams and has a diameter of 15 millimeters. With the exception of the years 1942 through 1945, silver dimes were minted at the Rijksmunt in Utrecht.
