Set of Bible coins in deep red wooden box, with explanation of the coins in enclosed brochure.
The set includes the following coins:

• silver 1/8 shekel from Byblus (Phoenician coastal city of Classical antiquity known for papyrus production).
• Billon (bronze & silver) drachma King Azes II 35 B.C.-5 A.D. (Bible scholars believe that 1 of the 3 wise men who came to worship Jesus was the representative sent by King Azes II).
• Lepton (Jewish coin) of Alexander Janneus (high priest and "King" of the Jewish people from 103. B.C.).
• Lepton (Jewish coin) of John Hyrcanus II (high priest and ruler).
